We strive for perfection from the time the animals arrive at our shop until the finished product is picked up by our customers. Because we are ORGANIC CERTIFIED, Big Timber Meats is also able to process any organic livestock. According to the Organic Monitor, ‘elevated consumer awareness of organic meat production methods has caused organic beef sales to sky rocket.’ Big Timber Meats is proud to be involved in the future of meat production. Big Timber Meats works diligently to stay up-to-date and takes whatever measures are needed to ensure that their neighbors, friends, or visitors receive only the best quality processed meat.
Big Timber Meats processes organic and natural grass-fed beef and hogs for several private label ranches including Amaltheia Dairy of Bozeman, B Bar Ranch of Big Timber, C5 Organics of Bozeman, Coon’s Age Farm of Belfry, and Half Circle Pride Piedmontese of Belgrade. You can find beef from these ranches at grocery stores and restaurants throughout the state.
Besides processing beef, sheep and hogs, Big Timber Meats also processes wild game including antelope, deer, elk, buffalo, mountain goats and bear. Annually, Big Timber Meats serves local hunters as well as hunters from all over the country. All game is processed one animal at a time, to the hunter’s specifications, and vacuum sealed. A wide variety of sausage, smoked meat products and jerky flavors are available.
